Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing the career of a physical therapist on the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas in a long time and quickly made the move to Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor including commercials and independent films. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. After 2001, she relocated in New York where her first appearance was on the All My Kids' daytime soap opera, playing Rosa Santos.
